SST Supervisor
To obtain the SST Supervisor card, you don't take a single 62-hour course, but rather a combination of several specific modules:

Important Note: If you already have the "Worker" card (40 hours), you only need to complete the additional 22 hours specific to supervisors to reach the 62-hour level.
40-hour training
What does the 40-hour training include?
To obtain this credential, you generally need to complete a combination of specific courses:
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction: 30 hours of basic training on construction hazards (issued by the federal Department of Labor).
- 8-Hour Fall Prevention: 8 hours dedicated exclusively to fall prevention, which is the leading cause of fatalities in the sector.
- 2-Hour Drug and Alcohol: 2 hours on raising awareness of drug and alcohol use in the workplace.

Worker Wallet
TRAINING CERTIFICATIONS INCLUDED IN THE WORKER WALLET:
- User/Operator of
- Mast Climber and refresher
- Climbing crane / tower crane rigger
- Rigging supervisor
- Rigging worker
- Supported scaffold user
- Scaffold installer and dismantler
- User of suspended scaffolding
- Suspended scaffold supervisor
- Periodic gas pipeline inspector
Existing worker qualification cards issued before November 1, 2024, must be replaced by July 1, 2025, in order for holders of any of the aforementioned certifications to be able to perform work requiring such certification.
To obtain a Worker Wallet card, visit a DOB-approved course provider. Course providers may charge an administrative fee to issue the Worker Wallet card.
